Liz used to work for Animal Corp's news channel — fired for telling the truth about the anomaly infection. Community-reported to appear around Shift 10, she hands the player her UV camera and asks them to photograph a specific visitor. Waste the photo and she takes the camera back, saying she can't trust you.
She is the second character with a direct Animal Corp connection — the other is Rattina. A fired whistleblower journalist showing up at the one hospital where the infection is visible every night reads like the story finally moving from hints toward someone actively collecting proof.

Ratthew's visits form a slow reveal: he introduces himself anonymously, warns you to trust no one in this hospital, and admits he chewed up classified experiment reports in Ron's office — and doesn't regret it. On his final visit he confesses he uncovered a government secret and is being hunted for it, mentions his missing twin sister Rattina("the smart one in the family"), and hands you a key.
That key opens a hidden safe in Room 5 behind a cat poster: inside is a photo of Rattina, a suitcase stamped TOP SECRET, and a note reading "The experiment was a success. The shadow now sees everything." — widely read by the community as the origin of the Stalker enemy.

Rattina worked for the Animal Corporation before she vanished. The only trace of her is the photo in the Room 5 safe, filed next to proof of a "successful experiment" that made a shadow "see everything."
The leading community theory: the experiment created the Stalker, and Rattina either ran from it, was silenced for it, or was part of it. The game hasn't confirmed any of the three — but a fan-made Rattina UGC plushie already exists on the Roblox marketplace, which tells you how much the community wants her story finished.

Harlow grades your performance every shift and unlocks core features as you progress. But he carries the same TOP SECRET suitcase as Ron from Accounting and the one hidden in Ratthew's safe — and an anomaly version of him, hollow-eyed and blank, has been spotted through a lobby-window glitch.
He's also been seen stepping outside to talk with an animal in a hazmat suit before returning to work as if nothing happened. The July 10 update — named "Harlow's Favorite Update" — gave him a new model and new interactions, but stopped short of explaining any of this.

Barney is polite, calls you "friend," and asks for small favors across five visits — coffee, a briefcase to hold, a photograph that reveals his true form: a wide, sharp-toothed mouth and hollow eyes. Tasers and guns do nothing to him.
When Officer Duckman arrives hunting him, the player chooses whether to hide him (reward: a second coffee machine) or turn him in (Duckman gets stabbed and Barney escapes). Either way, Barney is proof the hospital has been harboring exactly the kind of thing it's supposed to screen out.

Duckman exists entirely in relation to Barney's storyline — he shows up with Barney's photo, asks if you've seen him, and his fate depends entirely on your choice. A straightforward cop in a hospital full of people who aren't what they seem.
